I'm Rick Mitchell. I've been shooting portraits in Albuquerque for several years, and I built Alpha Artistry specifically because I believe the experience of being photographed should feel like a celebration — not an audition.

Every session I run is guided, professional, and completely judgment-free. I direct every pose. I set the lighting for you specifically. I manage the pace so you never feel rushed or uncomfortable. If someone you trust wants to come with you for your first session, that's always welcome.

What I am not is a photographer who puts a camera in your face and hopes for the best. Every image is intentional. Every edit is careful. And every client walks away with something they're genuinely proud of.
